Summer house and sauna for the guest friendly

My best friend Nicole asked me to design a summerhouse in the deep Finnish forest by a family lake. As it happened, her marriage was due and what greater gift could I have found but to draw a house. The initial gift turned out to be the beginning of a series of family cottages all around shores and lakes in different parts of Finland. What a joy to see all these “cousin houses” being built, enjoyed and written about in glossy magazines.
